Input sought on Maricopa County policies

Maricopa County officials are looking to update its policies on everything from land use to economic growth amid population growth in the northwest Valley.

The White Tank Grand Avenue Area Plan looks to review and update policies and goals in unincorporated Maricopa County to guide development over the next 20 or so years, said Adam Cannon, a senior planner with Maricopa County.

The county land includes the White Tank Mountain Regional Park and other land on the outskirts of cities such as Peoria and Surprise.
