Inoculations at Banner Del Webb to begin Dec. 21

Emergency, health care workers to go first

The COVID-19 vaccine is just days away from being distributed to the first group at Banner Del Webb Medical Center, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City.

Surprise Emergency Operations Manager Tracy Montgomery told the Surprise City Council Dec. 15 that inoculations will begin Monday, Dec. 21 at the hospital.

The city is coordinating the Northwest Region pod of five pods Maricopa County officials have set up.
