Voters approving Tempe general plan, three council candidates lead

Mayor Corey Woods seals unopposed reelection bid

Latest results for the March 12 primary election continue to show Tempe voters in support of the general plan, Mayor Corey Woods likely to secure reelection and three candidates maintaining the lead for the open council seats. 

Unofficial results were updated by the Maricopa County Elections Department at 5:28 p.m. March 13, reporting voter turnout at 26.03% with 22,009 ballots cast.

Per the latest update, Woods has secured 94.36% or 17,280 votes in support of his reelection.
