Inge Marie McKenzie

Inge Marie McKenzie was born October 2, 1929
Passed peacefully February 24, 2022
Born in Cologne Germany Inge was an only child and orphaned at a young age. She had a maternal grandmother she loved dearly. She learned to be quite a survivor growing up during World War 11 in Germany.
She met and married American soldier Richard Charles Wiening. Together with 6-year-old daughter Veronica they moved from Germany to Chicago IL in 1955. 3 years later they welcomed son Keith Charles Wiening. Together they were in the restaurant business at times owning their own places.
After her many years of marriage to Richard she was blessed with a second marriage to Kenneth McKenzie in 1980. They soon retired and loved traveling the country in their RV. They were active in church and did volunteer work.
Ken had 2 children, Ken Jr. and daughter Kim. Between the 4 kids they were loving grandparents to 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Ken passed in 2013 and Inge joined the community at El Dorado senior living community. She had many friends and loved playing bridge.
She spread love to all and will be truly missed.
Memorial to be held at American Lutheran church 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd Sun City AZ at 11am on March 15, 2022.
