“The Old Man and The Old Moon,” Theater Works newest production, is an adventure by land, sea and air, all from the warm confines of the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.
And this steampunk odyssey is not complete without the hero finding himself trapped in the belly of a fish, just another obstacle keeping him from reuniting with his true love, all set upon an indie folk rock wave of sea shanties and shadow puppetry to fuel the ensemble storytelling.
Director Chris Hamby said “The Old Man and The Old Moon,” running through April 13, is a different kind of story for Theater Works.
