Ina Dresser

SUN CITY - Ina Dresser passed away on Jan. 3, 2017. Ina was born in Chico, Texas on March 7, 1913 to Lola and June Stalnaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harry; her daughter, Mary; her son, Wayne; and her husband of nearly 76 years, Elbert Joseph Dresser. She is survived by her son, Don Dresser, of Sun City; as well as, eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. During her 103 years, Ina lived a life full of adventure. In her earlier years, in addition to raising her three children, Ina worked as a civil servant for the U.S. Air Force. In later years, she enjoyed traveling the country in the motorhome with her husband. Then they fell in love with cruising and explored many places around the world by cruise ship. Ina loved spending time with her family and loved playing BINGO each week with her extended family of friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. Family visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12p.m. Public visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Ina will then be laid to rest beside her husband at Sunland Memorial Park of Sun City immediately following the visitation.
