Experts discuss mental health in the military

Now that the Brandon Act is on its way to implementation, Sen. Mark Kelly, who sponsored the bill, said time will tell if the new policy is effective.

Suicide rates among active-duty military members are currently at an all-time high and the mission of the Brandon Act is to curtail that by giving service members an opportunity to privately request mental health care.
