Detectives are investigating a fatal crash in north Phoenix that killed a 38-year-old man, police said.
Just after 7 p.m. Dec. 20, officers responded to a collision involving Ricardo Arambula and two vehicles. When officers arrived near 20200 North 7th Street, they found Arambula suffering from critical injuries, and Phoenix Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives learned Arambula was in the road when he was struck by a truck driving south, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.

Just after 7 p.m. Dec. 20, officers responded to a collision involving Ricardo Arambula and two vehicles. When officers arrived near 20200 North 7th Street, they found Arambula suffering from critical injuries, and Phoenix Fire Department personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Detectives learned Arambula was in the road when he was struck by a truck driving south, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
The collision pushed Arambula to the ground at which time he was hit by a car also driving south on 7th Street. The driver of the truck showed signs of impairment. The driver of the car did not, police said.
No arrests have been made, and charges are pending further review and lab analysis.
