OPINION — In response Carolyn Copeland’s letter, Minnesota mother should have used better judgment, I write to defend the victim, Renee Good.
While it is true that we should do what an officer of the law tells us, I don’t believe ICE agents are behaving like legitimate law enforcement officers. True members of our law enforcement follow our Constitution, do not wear masks, do not invade homes and do not put people in detention without cause.
It seems to me that these agents are of the same caliber as the criminals that Trump pardoned and had released from prison, where they had been sentenced for the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection in our Capitol.
