Olympic and world champion figure skaters are coming to Peoria for Ice Dance International’s SOAR marking the final stop on their national 10th anniversary tour, 7 p.m. March 24 at AZ Ice, Monday, March 24, 15829 N. 83rd Ave.
Current Olympic Ice Dance Champion Gabriella Papadakis, two-time U.S. Champion Alissa Czisny and World Champions Oona and Gage Brown are part of the ensemble cast performing in a theatrical presentation of artistry and athleticism.
Ice Dance International was created in 2014 by acclaimed ballet dancer and choreographer Edward Villella and skating icon Dick Button to bring the grace of ballet dancing together with the athleticism of figure skating. The nonprofit is supported by skating legends Dorothy Hamill and JoJo Starbuck.
Ice Dance International is a nonprofit whose goal is to inspire figure skating for everyone.
