I vote early, but not by mail

OPINION — I have been voting by mail since Arizona instituted it. Before that, most of my voting was by mail because I was first active-duty Air Force, then a spouse and voting absentee. I have always trusted mail voting and never doubted the integrity of the vote.

But for the last few years, since the USPS has become less reliable and more problematic, I turn

in my mail ballot to an early voting site or drop box. I don't trust the post office anymore.
