I-17 section reopens, 4 highways in Arizona remain closed

PHOENIX – Interstate 17 southbound has reopened at milepost 337 near the Flagstaff airport, state transportation officials said, but weekend rainfall is keeping several highways closed.

The following routes remain shut:

  • Interstate 17 northbound at State Route 169 (milepost 278).
  • State Route 89A between Sedona and Kachina Village (mileposts 375-397).
  • State Route 73 between Indian Pine and White River (mileposts 357-351).
  • State Route 238 between Maricopa and Gila Bend.
