Two heavily traveled freeway ramps will be closed over the weekend as crews work on the Broadway Curve improvement project, transportation officials said.
In addition, roads near Sky Harbor Airport will be narrowed, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The westbound I-10 ramp to eastbound US 60 in Tempe will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, until 4 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, for construction. Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes between 32nd and 40th streets near Sky Harbor.
ADOT officials said eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 24th, 32nd and 40th streets and the eastbound off-ramp at Baseline Road also will be closed.
The westbound US 60 ramp to westbound I-10 near the Broadway Curve will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday for construction, but officials said the HOV ramp to westbound I-10 will be open.
The westbound US 60 on-ramp at Rural Road and westbound off-ramp at Priest Drive will be closed.
