Drivers heading to Tuesday's Rolling Stones concert in Glendale should leave for State Farm Stadium early, and those going home from work on Loop 101 and Interstate 10 should make other plans or expect delays, state transportation officials said.
Doors to State Farm Stadium will open 6 p.m. Aug. 7 for the 8 p.m. show, and officials said heavy traffic is likely along westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix and Loop 101 in Glendale.
Drivers heading to the concert from the East Valley should consider using westbound/northbound Loop 202 to bypass I-10 through downtown Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Parking lots open at 4 p.m. so an early start to the concert might help avoid delays, ADOT officials said.
