HyRel Technologies opens shop in Peoria

$15M facility will create 50 new jobs

HyRel Technologies, a global provider of quick turn semiconductor modification solutions, announced it has moved to Peoria and will create 50 new jobs in the city.

The company works with several high profile chip manufacturers and third party chip suppliers to supply existing, modified chips for special applications and uses. This includes resoldering existing chips with custom designed robotics solutions.

Production at the company’s $15 million, 20,000-square-foot facility, located near 78th and Olive avenues, will focus on touchless robotic processing systems for microelectronic components, semiconductors, tape and reel, component recovery, and NPI/contract manufacturing services.
