A California man has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge in the death of his wife at a long-term care facility in Gilbert.
Justin Davidson, 46, was indicted on one count of first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Danielle Leigh Crosbie-Davidson, 58, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced Monday.
Staff at long-term care facility Eternal Springs of Gilbert found Crosbie-Davidson dead in her room June 11, according to the county attorney’s office. Crosbie-Davidson was being treated for advanced dementia.

Justin Davidson was staying in his wife’s room while visiting from California, according to the county attorney’s office.
Facility staff contacted Gilbert Police after discovering Crosbie-Davidson dead and noting concerning circumstances. Investigators conducted interviews and reviewed evidence that led to Davidson’s arrest, according to the county attorney’s office.
Davidson is being held on a $1 million dollar bond, with a trial tentatively set for February 2026.
