As stated in a press release, the event was held on Oct. 22 and celebrated the nonprofit with a farm-to-table dinner as well as a barn tour, equine therapy demo, mechanical bull, a best dress contest, auctions and more.
“This year’s magical gala showcased everything that it means to be a part of the Hunkapi family,” said Terra Schaad, founder of Hunkapi Programs, in the release. “We celebrated our horses, our clients and the incredible community of friends and allies who give all they can to keep the farm running.”
APS sponsored the event at the $15,000 level and Ted Geisler, president of APS, was the recipient of the Cowboy Values Leadership Award.
The event was emceed by Carey Pena and chaired by Diversified Partners Associate Broker Michelle Cheverie and LivGenerations Senior Living Outreach Director Nicole Carlson.
The release stated that the live auction was hosted by The Auctiontainer, Letitia Frye, and featured items from local Arizona businesses including an experience at Castle Hot Springs, a puppy from Puppy Luv Animal Rescue and a three-night stay at The Ranch at Southfork.
