After performing before a sold-out crowd earlier this year, the Savannah Bananas will return to the West Valley in February 2024.
The Peoria Sports Complex, at 16101 N. 83rd Ave., will host the team’s second stop on the 2024 Banana Ball World Tour.
“We are excited to continue this partnership,” Chris Calcaterra, Director of Parks and Recreation in Peoria, shared in a press release. “The Banana fever that swept Peoria last year was incredible to see. We received great feedback from the community and were overjoyed when they agreed to come back for not one, but three games in 2024.”
The Savannah Bananas bring their World Famous Baseball Circus to the Sports Complex Feb. 15-17. The Bananas have reimagined the baseball experience and the game itself with their fast-paced, action-packed style of baseball with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if it’s tied.
Due to high demand, fans must enter a ticket lottery beginning this month. A random drawing will take place in December.
If selected, you will have a chance to purchase tickets for $35 or VIB (Very Important Banana) tickets for $85. VIB ticket perks include early entry and meet and greet with your favorite Bananas.
