Hot water: Hotter summers don’t have much of an impact on Arizona’s water supply

The impact of climate change has caused shortages to one of Arizona’s key water supplies — the Colorado River.

Now Phoenix has seen its three hottest summers on record during the past five years.

However, the managers of the two biggest water suppliers to the Valley say the additional heat doesn’t have much of an impact on the state’s water supply.
