What for?
I haven’t had to use my oven in years. I got the dashboard, the sidewalk, front door knob, fresh hot water out the cold faucet. Oven mitts are in the car. What do I need an oven for? — Stephanie Hoskovichlighty

Falling
Goes along with it. It’s definitely not pleasant that’s for sure. I’ve been here 46 years but still would never move back to the Midwest with the humidity. Come on October-November. — Brenda Webb
_
But where?
I totally agree. Where is the monsoon I keep hearing about. — Jean Thompson
_
But still
I think the breeze makes it feel a little cooler. When the air is still it seems hotter. — Denise Roscigno

Promised
I remember my first Arizona Summer 1981 and our car didn’t have A/C with black leather seats ... my parents promptly traded in the car for one with A/C and cloth seats ... You’ll get used to it ... promise. Oh, Welcome to the great 48. — Paula Russell

Blown away
Agreed. Two chairs blew over in my backyard and I saw a neighbor’s inflatable pool toy blow over my roof! — Penny Bentley
_
All wet
You’re in Arizona, better get used to it. You moved to the desert. Hope you have a pool in case your power goes out. — Erin Ewing
_
Not as bad
Perspective. The hot wind sucks, but when I worked at the airport slinging bags, the jet wash was much worse. — Phil Fedor
_
Nope
It wasn’t hot today. A little muggy but not hot. I’m a mail carrier. — Karri Levens
_
Worse
Just stay out long enough to start sweating ... instant cool air without A/C need ... tip from an Arizona born and raised adult. This summer really hasn’t been that bad. I’ve been through worse. — Sheila Spanbauer
_
Cooler
It’s been a mild summer. Jump in the pool or hose yourselves off and then it will be a cool breeze! — Amanda Miller
_
Rolled down
It’s why I left Arizona, just too hot ... when I was doing construction it was so hot, you couldn’t roll the window down, felt like a hair dryer. — David Miller
_
Hurt
What, you don’t like the feeling of opening an oven to take out the cookies ... but there is no oven, and definitely no cookies? Welcome to Arizona, where the air hurts your face in the summer ... lol. — Kat Snyder
