Council to consider $3.43M land sale for a new medical facility

A new health care facility is on tap in the area of the P83 Entertainment District.

At its next meeting, the Peoria City Council Feb. 15 will consider a land sale of 7.51 acres of city-owned property near 83rd Avenue and Greenway Road to Pleasantville Center LLC, where a new HonorHealth facility is planned.

Last April, city staff began working with nonprofit HonorHealth to build a 75,000 square foot healthcare project at this location, according to a city staff report.
