HonorHealth asks for public’s help to keep hospital beds available

Hospital, staff capacity near brink

HonorHealth is experiencing an “unprecedented” demand for care pushing upwards on its capacity, the Valley hospital system said in an Oct. 4 statement, citing COVID-19, RSV, West Nile Virus and pent-up procedural demands.

In turn, HonorHealth officials are asking for the public’s help in caring for the community as well.

“Our care team members will continue to fulfill this mission with courage and conviction, but we are requesting your help in caring for our community as well,” the HonorHealth statement reads.
