Homeless ID brings services to Scottsdale addiction center

The Homeless ID Project will be on site at Crossroads Scottsdale location, 1200 N. 77th St., providing one of the most overlooked services that directly supports recovery: access to identification from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Jan. 21.

Although Homeless ID Project is best known for serving people experiencing homelessness, many clients lose identification during addiction, incarceration or crisis, making recovery and reintegration difficult without intervention, according to a press release.

Homeless ID Project works directly with treatment centers and service providers to help clients obtain birth certificates, state IDs and other vital documents, often a necessary step toward long-term stability and successful recovery.
