James Gerber, ALC’s own organist extraordinaire, will perform a brief concert 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 in the sanctuary. A virtual organ pipe expedition to witness how the organ produces sound is included. The exploration continues from the comfort of the sanctuary: another excursion will be the ALC stained glass windows with David Hjortland, followed by a reception in the courtyard.
A fitting conclusion to the Welcome Home Pep Rally will be an old-fashioned Lutheran potluck 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4. Bring a favorite hot dish, salad, bread or dessert. Tea and coffee will be provided.
