Homecoming brings weekend of activities to ASU, Tempe

A week of Homecoming events at Arizona State University culminates Friday and Saturday with a parade, party and football.

The Homecoming Lantern Walk, first celebrated in 1917, will take place at 6 p.m. Oct. 27.

The meeting location is at the trail head at Veteran's Way and College Avenue. There is no parking directly at the trailhead.

Homecoming brings weekend of activities to ASU, Tempe

A week of Homecoming events at Arizona State University culminates Friday and Saturday with a parade, party and football.

The Homecoming Lantern Walk, first celebrated in 1917, will take place at 6 p.m. Oct. 27.

The meeting location is at the trail head at Veteran's Way and College Avenue. There is no parking directly at the trailhead.

The ASU Homecoming Parade and Block Party, one of the longest-running traditions at ASU, will start at 1 p.m. Oct. 28 along University Drive between Forest and McAllister avenues. The ASU Marching Band, Homecoming Court and several community organizations and local celebrities will  be at the event.

There will be more than 100 booths with free, interactive learning activities at Old Main Lawn at ASU.

The celebration culminates with  a 5 p.m. Oct. 28 football matchup at Mountain America Stadium where the Sun Devils take on Washington State.
