Home fire south of Florence sets up resident confrontation with PCSO

A fire that burned down a home south of Florence in an area known as Cactus Forest has ignited a fiery controversy.

On April 19, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a house fire on Hohokam. Sheriff’s deputies and the Florence Police Department responded. Meanwhile, the homeowner and others were using garden hoses on the fire, keeping it contained to one area of the home for about 45 minutes. The fire eventually entered the home’s attic and swept through the rest of the house.
