Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral honored with ceremonial street sign

The city of Phoenix honored the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral with a ceremonial street sign on Friday.

This year the church celebrated 100 years as a chartered church in Phoenix and 65 years of its annual Greek Festival.

“The Greek community really helped build our city,” said Mayor Kate Gallego at the unveiling ceremony on Friday. “So many of our earliest entrepreneurs were part of the Greek community. And the Greek community is such an important part of our future, as well.”
