It’s 8:45 on Wednesday morning, and the Holland Community Center is already coming to life.
A group of ladies are sitting around a table in the foyer planning the next installment in the Art Talk lecture series at the community center, while the Sonoran Arts League Board of Directors is in another room holding a hybrid meeting with some members present and others on a large screen via the internet, and a man looking for a cup of Joe is asking when the cafe opens.
That’s not all. Pretty soon the place will be full of line dancing students and lecture goers coming for a speech on “How technology will change how you age.”
