The Maricopa County Department of Transportation announced Saturday morning that several recreation sites along the Salt River are at full capacity. The sites re-opened later in the day.
The Pebble Beach, Blue Point, Butcher Jones and Water Users recreation sites have been closed to any additional visitors, officials said.
The information was released on MCDOT’s Twitter account and by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
