Hohokam Elementary teachers gifted with school supplies

Hohokam Elementary School teachers react to seeing school supplies bought for their classrooms by Courtesy Volvo Cars of Scottsdale.

Independent Newsmedia/MacKenzie Brower

Courtesy Volvo Cars of Scottsdale surprised Hohokam Elementary School teachers with school supplies to stock their classrooms this year.

Teachers’ wish lists for supplies that they would normally pay out of pocket for or materials that are often hard to acquire were provided for every single teacher’s classroom on Aug. 3.

Paper, pencils, pens, Expo markers and colorful pencil boxes stacked the tables in Hohokam’s gym.
