Hobbs crossed a line with Giles, but why do we even need a lieutenant governor?

OPINION — Arizona's 1912 Constitution electing only a governor and no lieutenant governor worked fine for over 100 years. 

Then political deep thinkers and special interests decided we needed more politicians to solve Arizona's problems, so they got Proposition 131 passed.

Gov. Katie Hobbs selected a political independent, John Giles, as her running mate. She deceived loyal Arizona Democrats. Hobbs created political anarchy and cheated a lot of supporters out of their money.
