Now that Glendale will officially welcome a 630,000-square foot, $675 million manufacturing facility to the West Valley, the obvious question of what will go on inside there was answered Wednesday.
On Tuesday night the City Council unanimously approved Nestlé USA’s zoning application. The world’s largest food company will build a 143-acre facility that, according to one analysis, could create an economic impact of $2.1 billion for Glendale during the next 10 years.
With a vast portfolio of products known worldwide, Nestlé on Wednesday announced the new facility’s future use. The factory will produce high-quality creamers, including the Coffee mate, Coffee mate natural bliss, and Starbucks brands, with the ability to expand to additional beverages in the future.
