High temps to stick around through next week

The dog days of summer are here and it looks as if blistering temperatures are likely to stick around through much of next week, according to Ryan Worley, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

On Friday, the 92-degree forecast low in Phoenix is 10 degrees hotter than the high in Los Angeles at about 3 p.m.

“Unfortunately, it’s not looking good for rainfall,” Worley said. “We are going to be quite dry.”
