Seven intersections within the city of Tempe are among the top 100 Phoenix metro intersections with the highest crash risk, according to the latest report from the Maricopa Association of Governments.
MAG released its report Nov. 21 of the top 100 intersections ranked by crash risk, which included seven intersections in Tempe — although not all intersections are owned and maintained by the city. Data used in the report was from 2018 to 2022.
Tempe-owned and maintained intersections on the list were Broadway Road and Hardy Drive, Broadway Road and Price Road, Baseline Road and Kyrene Road, Baseline Road and Loop 101 and Elliot Road and Kyrene Road.
