Hendrix: No one is above the law

Posted

I’m sure this won’t be the only letter you receive regarding a published opinion today from Janet Knudson in the Sun City Independent. It’s truly hard to believe how some can ignore the facts involving our former president and rationalize his felonious behavior as appropriate of a sitting president and elected official.

Ninety-one felony counts cannot simply be justified because of Hunter Biden’s actions or Hillary Clinton’s lack of response in Benghazi or deleting emails. Ninety-one counts, many verging on treason in Georgia and Mar a Lago.

Refusing to accept the election results, tampering with witnesses and legal voting results, notwithstanding, the Mar a Lago documents case would seem to put a damper on many good Americans’ attitudes toward an elected official, but no. Let’s support his every move to incite a riot in which deaths occurred. Try to steal the election that he claims was stolen from him. Ruin good election workers’ lives in Georgia and avoid following the law in many states.

It’s OK to do all of that and be a criminal in four states. Let’s ignore all of this behavior and elect a criminal again. Sorry folks. It doesn’t work that way. Hopefully the message will be sent, that no one is above the law.
