Help Phoenix honor those who help people with disabilities

Phoenix is accepting nominations to honor those who help people with disabilities.
The Disabilities Awards and Recognition Event recognizes “ability, advocacy, accessibility and achievements,” city officials said in a release.
The event honors individuals, organizations and businesses for their dedication and service to people with disabilities.
Award categories include Architectural, Business, Non-profit, Community Service, Outstanding Educator and the Detective Olsen Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominations need to be submitted online by July 31.
