The National Weather Service has extended through Friday an excessive heat warning for Maricopa and Pinal counties.

Temperatures could reach 115 degrees, according to the Weather Service.

Heat warning extended through Friday for Maricopa, Pinal counties

The National Weather Service has extended through Friday an excessive heat warning for Maricopa and Pinal counties.

Temperatures could reach 115 degrees, according to the Weather Service.

County residents are advised to limit outdoor activities and stay hydrated.

Regardless of an individual’s health, “everyone is at risk for heat-related illness,” NWS officials said.
