Hearing postponed on proposed Chandler QuikTrip

At last minute, QuikTrip application moved to April 18 meeting

Chandler residents will need to wait another month to voice their opinions about a planned redevelopment.

A plan approval and rezoning hearing for a proposed QuikTrip gas station and convenience store was postponed during the Chandler City Council’s March 21 meeting, even after several signed-up public speakers and a large crowd had come to the hearing.

Brennan Ray, an attorney with Burch & Cracchiolo, requested a 30-day continuance of the hearing after what he described as significant misinformation recently surfacing about the project.
