Heading to Phoenix, here are 4 Santana deep cuts you should listen to

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has new album out, is coming to Talking Stick

Carlos Santana brings his many musical lives to Phoenix next month.

Some worldwide fans got their first taste of his Latin-fused rock, jazz and blues from his iconic set at Woodstock in 1969 and the Santana band’s self-titled debut album that came out just a few days after the festival. A whole new generation of fans found Carlos through his 1999 smash album, “Supernatural,” one of the best-selling albums of all time and winner of nine Grammys in 2000, which broke the record for most Grammys off one album, previously held by “Thriller.”

Those musical moments – and everything in between and since – will be in full celebration mode when Santana performs Friday, April 18 at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre.
