Head Start continues success with virtual learning, heads back into class this summer

As children in Maricopa County’s Head Start program head back into classrooms this summer, program administrators said the children didn’t fall behind academically, at least during the first few months of virtual learning.

The Head Start program is designed to make sure low-income and disabled children ages 5 and younger don’t fall behind and are prepared to start kindergarten.
