Hazel Barbara Wittig

Hazel B. Wittig passed away peacefully in Sun City West Arizona on the morning of February 26, 2022. She was 103 years old. Hazel was born on May 10, 1918 in Detroit Michigan. She was the daughter of Emmons and Lillian Chase. She is survived by her 3 children Barbara Salmonowicz, Jeffery Wittig and Peter Wittig as well as 4 grandchildren, Tala Campbell Wittig, Autumn Boehmer, Lyric Boehmer, John Croke and Jesse Spicer.She also has 5 great grand children. Hazel and her husband William moved to Sun City in 1974. She loved Arizona and was active in several organizations; Our Lady of Lourdes Guild, Sun City West Women’s Club and was a Sun City West Library volunteer from 1979 until 2001.Her hobbies were Golf, swimming, reading and bridge. There will be a Memorial Mass for Hazel at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N. 128th. Avenue, Sun City West Arizona on Saturday April 9th At 10:00 am.
