OPINION — Divisiveness is a win/lose “my way or the highway” perspective of problem-solving. It is opposite of working together, collectively, to achieve a win/win solution to common problems.
Venezuela and Minneapolis are examples of divisiveness that have led to homicide. He with the bigger stick wins when using division instead of collaboration to solve problems. Boats sunk, foreign leaders kidnapped and American citizens killed in the streets of Minneapolis because our administration believes might is right, and the end justifies the means.
Leaders are killers, whether they dropped the bombs or pulled the trigger on defenseless foreigners and Americans. ICE, CBP and the military under direct orders of a divisive, autocratic leader are his unchecked tools to assure the win.
