Born December 15,1939 Jacksonville, Florida.
Came to Phoenix AZ when he was 10 years old.
Died April 13, 2026
Ed worked full-time jobs since he was fourteen years of age; Rainbow Bakery, Superlite Block Company, then as a Farmers Insurance agent for 42 years.
The measure of a man is how he lived his life, and the example he sets for others. The only way to describe Eddie is—he was as straight as an arrow.
In all his business and personal dealings, he never waivered on his ethics, and gave everyone a fair shake.
Ed achieved all he set out to do in life. He married at 18-1/2 and had success in business, marriage and family. He was a great Dad and Husband. He was a wonderful provider; preparing for the future, and making life comfortable for his family.
He leaves behind Wife Mary, children Mike, Cari and Jenny, and four grandchildren- Bailey, Keegan, Rebecca and Georgia.
He passed due to Colon Cancer, an inoperable broken hip (due to chemo and age). He had never been ill until this past year. He worried that he was burden, causing his family stress and added work, but he never complained about pain or what he was experiencing health-wise, which was significant. He stated what a great run he had in life. He had such a positive attitude.
Mary, his wife of many years stated, “How blessed I have been, to walk the Earth with this special man. He will be sorely missed and greatly loved to infinity.”
In closing, Eddie has left this Earth. Way back as long as we can remember, He always said to everyone as they departed after any visit, “Be careful..”
