Halloween comes to Florence Farmers Market

The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce is encouraging shoppers to wear their favorite costumes for this weekend’s Florence Farmers Market.

The Farmers Market runs from 8 a.m. to noon, Oct. 26 at McFarland State Historic Park, 24 W. Ruggles St.

Vendors will be offering a variety of seasonal treats, fresh produce, artisan breads, cookies, honey, olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, goat’s milk products, handmade crafts, jewelry, and artwork, according to a press release from the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.

The market will also be collecting food for the families in need. For every can of green beans attendees donate, they will receive one raffle ticket for a chance to win a bakery gift basket from AKA Bakery and More.

While at the Farmers Market, guests can tour McFarland State Historic Park at no charge. For children, posters and badges will be available for taking part in the Arizona State Park Junior Buddy program for ages 3-5, and the Junior Ranger program for ages 6-12.
