Group urges Peoria to reject Amkor’s site plan, construction

Residents hire lawyer to fight microchip testing, packaging company

A Peoria-based group opposed to Amkor Technology building in the commercial core of Vistancia has hired a lawyer who is urging the city to reject the company’s site plan application.

Citizens for Smart Growth, via its lawyer Timothy LaSota, claim the site plan does not comply with the city’s general plan.

An approved site plan is an important step in the process that allows for construction.
