Group proposes plan to place historic church spire in Paradise Valley town complex

The spire atop the now-demolished Ascension Lutheran Church was a fixture of Paradise Valley’s skyline for more than 60 years.

Except for the mountains, the historic spire at Ascension Lutheran Church was the highest structure in Paradise Valley for decades.

That came to an end in 2024 when the church was razed to make room for luxury homes. The spire, however, lives to see another day.
