Gretchen Spoerry, longtime resident of Sun City, passed away peacefully November 18, 2017.Her faith, family, friends, and church were the foundation for her life as she remained active, always bringing great joy to everyone until the very last day of her life.She was born June 2, 1925 in Iowa and moved to Arizona in 1959.She is survived by grandchildren: Natalie, Stephanie, Raymond, and Kyle; great-grandsons, Isaiah and Tristan; granddaughter, Isla; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Junella Hites, husband, Robert, and sons Bob and John.Her celebration of life will be held January 13, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 10233 W. Peoria Ave., Sun City. Memorials can be made to St. Christopher's.
