Greeney: Arizona Legislature’s spending must be more responsible
Regarding the recent news headline, “Senate approves up to $150 million for movie incentives annually,” Arizona needs to place a focus on water conservation and the development of other water sources.
Arizona needs to prioritize our much-needed statewide transportation upgrades, be it freeways, highways, city streets, public transportation!

Arizona needs to help our children receive a better education and develop community spirit with activities such as more league games (with appropriate supervision), community gardens, community clean up the streets campaign.
Once these films have been completed, how is our state in a better situation? The employment is temporary. We seem to have more than enough tourism, just look at the national park attendance, look at the restaurants, in most cases, more customers than waiters cooks, look at our seriously crowded roads, etc.
Please, we need to be more responsible with our spending.
