The year-old Bernedoodle is the newest edition to the charter schoool, leaving smiles and positivity in her path.

Thearpy dogs have been proven to provide numerous mental health benefits to those in need.

This is Mabel's first week on the job, and her popularity is already soaring.

Trained as a therapy dog, she is a welcome relief of tail wags and comfort to K-12th grade students experiencing anxiety and big emotions at Great Hearts, 23276 N. 83rd Ave.

Mabel visits classroom after classroom, sniffing out those chidlren who need her most. She also joins reading circles and is trained to pay special attention to those who need a comforting snuggle.

The beginning of the school year can be a stressful time for for kids of all ages, and Mabel was trained especially for this reason. She is a welcome addition to the school.
