Grant to help Surprise continue vaccine program

The city of Surprise will be able to continue its vaccine outreach program thanks to a new grant.

Surprise accepted a $10,000 grant from the National Council on Aging for the effort.

The Human Service and Community Vitality Department applied for the National Council on Aging’s COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccine Uptake Initiative grant in order to provide accessible vaccines to older adults and people with disabilities through the Surprise Senior Center.
